You step through the doors and into the machine. The walls of the old power plant breathe concrete and bass, the ceiling so high it swallows your voice before you've even yelled. For one night you are both predator and prey, lost in the drop, tangled in smoke, sweat, and sound waves that don't stop until the dawn forgets you. Berghain doesn't play for you, it devours your fear, your identity, your every promise, and leaves a residue of euphoria you'll chase all week.
Arrive early or late on Sunday morning. 2 AM to midday is when it breathes. Sunday sunrise in Panorama Bar is the soul of the place.

Sunday morning, 6am to noon. The Klubnacht runs Saturday night through to Monday afternoon and the room is at its best on Sunday in daylight. Avoid the Saturday midnight queue, you will not get in. Aim for between 2am and 6am Sunday with a tight group of two or three.
Friday nights 23:59 to Saturday afternoon. Saturday nights 23:59 onwards through to Monday afternoon (the Klubnacht). Lab.Oratory in the basement runs separate cruise nights. The door closes when it closes.
S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Ostbahnhof, walk five minutes south-east. The club sits between Wriezener Karree and Wuhlischstraße, a former GDR-era power plant. No signage. Look for the queue, which can stretch around the block on Saturday night.
